"Don the Beachcomber” wishes that he discovered the TIKI pearl ring created by award winning jewelry designer and master goldsmith Gregore’ Morin from Santa Barbara, California. Gregore’ has taken a round 14.5mm, fine luster, black Tahitian pearl that has golden/copper hue and set it in the most extraordinary 18 karat red and white gold ring. The large pearl is bezel set and nestled in a bowl that is rimmed in rose gold with an intricately carved Polynesian design. The base of the bowl is polished white gold. The outer ring of the shank is rose gold with Polynesian design continuing down the shoulders and sides. The inner ring is white gold that has been polished. There is open space between the white inner ring and the outer rose gold ring. The white gold inner ring has a panel of rose gold with Gregore’s name.

The size of this ring is . Custom, one of a kind rings generally are hand crafted using one of several standard sizes, often between 6 and 8. As a rule, but not always, rings can be sized up or down one size without distorting the overall shape and design. This ‘one size’ alteration of a custom creation by the artist is always free to you. Once the ring’s original size is changed, the ring cannot be returned and we will not accept a cancellation of your order. Such a purchase is final. If you are not sure, please order the ring in its original size for review. You may then send the ring to us for your complimentary first sizing.

Resizing custom rings more than one size often demands that the designer does more than simply add or subtract a little metal. They may need to re-fabricate part of the creation to maintain the design’s proportions, strength and integrity. If the size you prefer is not available for selection here, please contact us by email or telephone. If such modification is possible, we will obtain a quote from the artist.

It was in Santa Barbara that his distinctive style was born and Gregore’ won the first of many design awards.

Gregore’ designs and fabricates all of his limited edition designs by hand using traditional tools and techniques. His work can be found in museums as well as private collections of some of the world’s most famous people, and is featured in the book "Gemstone Masters,” on the covers of JCK Magazine, AJM Magazine, and Prism Magazine.

Gold, Platinum and Other Precious Metals and Gems

Most fine gold jewelry may be cleaned simply using warm water and nonabrasive soap using a small bristle brush such as a soft child’s toothbrush to remove solid substances lodged to the surface. Rinse in warm water, dry and polish with a soft cloth.

An ultrasonic cleaner can be used, except for items with aquamarines, emeralds, opals, and pearls. Jewelry with aquamarine, emeralds, opals, and pearls should be cleaned very carefully with soap and water.

Take Simple Precautions

Fine jewelry is durable, but not indestructible. We recommend not wearing your fine jewelry weightlifting, heavy lifting, playing golf, landscaping, gardening, horseback riding, in the pool or spa. Chlorine is toxic for many metals.
