Regular price $950.00 Save $-950.00Using Stephen Schlanser’s core design motif, a thick organic glass sculpture, he etches in the surface Japanese maple leaves and branches and in this case covers the finished creation in silver. Stephen has been making stained glass as well as slumped, etched and sandblasted glass for years. Each piece starts from a piece of sheet glass which is carefully shaped inside a closed kiln after being heated to a melting temperature. After each one is allowed to cool, it is hand cut and polished.
