The Le Jardin platter with silver has a deep-carved border found in many architectural, garment and typographic designs of the Middle Ages. This border reflects the Persian conception of an undulate leafed stalk with flowers. This platter makes a magnificent center piece with a traditional flair.
Stephen has been making stained glass as well as slumped, etched and sandblasted glass for years. Each piece starts from a piece of sheet glass which is carefully shaped inside a closed kiln after being heated to a melting temperature. After each one is allowed to cool, it is hand cut and polished.
