WHO
Alessandra Donà
CEO and Creative Director
Alessandra Donà was born in the Veneto region, where art, beauty and luxury are part of the territory. She has more than 25 years’ experience in the world of jewellery, and of pearls in particular. Alessandra has travelled the globe on behalf of some of the world’s leading pearl producers, to improve their knowledge of markets, production and style. She then started her own company to strengthen this expertise and culture, and also to give the market a personal touch. She has formed a talented team to help forge a new understanding of the relationship between women and pearls.
WHY
WOMEN NEED MORE THAN A JEWEL. THEY NEED SOMETHING TO EXPRESS THEIR IDENTITY.
For thousands of years, people have used jewels to express their status, or their sense of belonging to a religion, tribe, community, ideology or style. Queens, ethnic women, Native Americans and punks can all be recognised by their jewellery. People with different ways of living, different lifestyles and values, different responsibilities and different problems all need to make their identities recognizable. It’s a story that continues year after year, and we are the next chapter. Our work is to create precious things that help people to express their identities.
ONE STYLE IS NOT ENOUGH

We think of women who love the elegance of pearls but still want that modern, sexy, edgy look. This kind of woman might think of pearls as old-school and conventional, and wouldn’t choose them when buying a piece of jewellery for herself. Until today. We love this woman, and we design for her.
WHAT
We have created and designed two different strands for our collection.
The first strand reflects our view of the pearls of the future. We called it
FRIDAY NIGHT, to give the idea of positive, glamorous and contemporary.
The second strand is TIMELESS: classically-designed pearl jewellery with a
touch of something more up-to-date, to make it more attractive to the
modern market. Both series have the same visual codes and the same
brand image format, but they have two different colours: white for FRIDAY
NIGHT and black for TIMELESS.
HOW
We have an agreement with one of the world’s largest pearl companies, to secure only the best quality South Sea pearls for both these series. All our jewels are made from 18k gold, diamonds and semi-precious stones. Our quality assurance process is very thorough, to ensure that our customers receive only the best in terms of luxury, refinement and fineness. Perfection of design is also about the tiny details

CliClò is the innovative system invented by Alessandra Donà which allows you to
interchange the pearls or the semi precious stone beads on your jewel with a simple click. Choose every day the colors and reflexions of your preference and which suit your outfit best.
