What an idea: create a beautiful sculptural glass form, etch into the surface inspirational words and phrases, and then cover that surface in gold. That is what Stephen Schlanser did for you and your loved ones. It’s called The ABC’s of Life platter. Each letter of the alphabet is represented by an inspirational word.

Stephen Schlanser has been making stained glass as well as slumped, etched and sandblasted glass for years. Each starts from a piece of sheet glass which is carefully shaped inside a closed kiln after being heated to a melting temperature. After each one is allowed to cool, it is hand cut and polished.

This striking offering from Moser depicts six different aquatic scenes engraved on the ever popular Whisky barware pattern. This set of six double old fashioned glasses contains the full spectrum of Moser colors: alexandrite (purple or blue depending on the light source), aquamarine, eldor (yellow), rosalin (reddish-pink), beryl and topaz. Mouth blown, cut and frosted lead free crystal. 12.5 oz. capacity.

Double Old Fashioned glasses in the "Ocean Life" pattern - this is the "Whiskey" pattern which has been further enhanced with engraved underwater scenes - 10cm (4") tall - 370ML (12.5oz) capacity - There are six scenes total, one assigned to each color - Scene 1 in Topaz, Scene 2 in Eldor, Scene 3 in Aquamarine, Scene 4 in Rosaline, Scene 5 in Alexandrite and Scene 6 in Beryl. Burning desire. A drop of fire suspended in ice. Imagine, if you will, an inverted igloo with the sun burning a hole in the middle. This is the FIRE AND ICE bowl. The bottom of this art glass is curved with the look and feel of ice. The top has been cut level with an open red bowl perfectly suspended in the middle and encased in a deep black. This creates an optical illusion. You will be amazed how many of your guests will want to poke their finger in the center to see if there really is a bowl!
