Wish List

Are you researching artwork and not quite ready to make that purchase? Save selected items in a personal wish list to review later. To add items to your wish list,you must be registered with this site and logged in. Your selections will besaved and you can return to review or purchase them at any time. You can move items between lists, move them to cart or delete them. 

Registry

You can create one or several registries and use them to make a list of items you like and wish to be gifted to you. Once your registry is created and you have add edit items to it, you can email it to friends and family and share it via social sharing sites. Your friends can then purchase artwork and have it shipped directly to you or to them. In this way, the gift registry ensures that you are given gifts you really want.

We are required by law to collect sales tax on all orders shipped within California, because our galleries are located in California and all orders are shipped from the galleries.

You can see the artwork’s availability and delivery time on the product detail page and on the shopping cart page. Items that are in stock leave the gallery in 24to 48 hours. Items not in stock will be custom made for you by the artist and will take between 1 and 10 weeks to produce. On average, most items are ready for shipping in less than 5 weeks. Some items, especially artwork coming from Europe, may take up to 10 weeks to receive. Back ordered items will ship as they become available at no additional cost.

International Shipping& Delivery

Shipping charges for international orders are determined by package weight and destination.Shipping charges are calculated before taxes. 

Delivery is usually within 10 business days after the shipping date for in-stock items. If any items in your order are back ordered, the entire order will ship in one shipment when all items are available. 

International shipping is not available for P.O. Box addresses.

Due to certain restrictions, international orders can be shipped to many, but not all,countries.  

All orders are subject to verification. 

Duties and Taxes

Shipments outside the United States may be subject to import charges, which are the responsibility of the purchaser. Your order is shipped DDU – duties and taxes unpaid. ZFolio does not collect the VAT, duties and/or taxes, and cannot predict what your particular charges may be. If your order does require these additional charges,they must be paid in order for your package to clear customs. For information regarding your country’s custom policies, please contact your local customs office.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express.

If you ordered two or more items, they may ship from two locations and arrive in separate packages. Orders are shipped from our California galleries – either from Solving,or from Monterey. In-store pick up is also available.

You will receive an email from us when your order ships. You can use the tracking number in this email to find out where your shipment is and when it will arrive. Please beware that tracking information may not be available for 24 to 48 hours after you receive your confirmation email. Alternatively, you can log in to your account and check your order status there.

Jewelry andwearable art ship free using USPS Priority Mail or UPS. Shipments are insured.You will be able to select your preferred shipping method and speed during checkout.

Cost to ship orders of photography, art glass, wood art, and art for the home is determined by the shipment’s weight and size. You will be given exact cost to ship these items during checkout.

Artwork which is available for immediate shipping will be shipped out within two business days. Following shipment, orders will arrive within 2 to 6 days,depending on distance. All orders ship from California.

Artwork which will be made to order for you will take between two and ten weeks to ship. Availability and delivery time information is available on each item’s product detail page, and on shopping cart page.

Jewelry and wearable art ship free using USPS Priority Mail or UPS. Shipments are insured. You will be able to select your preferred shipping method and speed during checkout.Orders of art glass, wood art, and artwork for the home are shipped by USP. You will be able to select your preferred shipping speed during checkout. Photography is shipped by UPS Ground or other service, and requires crate to ensure safe delivery.

Yes! Please call855 892-6870. We will send you replacement artwork right away if it is in stock. There is no cost to ship exchanges and we will charge you for the new items. Please ship the originally ordered artwork back to us and you will receive credit in the original form of payment once we receive and process it.

You can make purchase online and then return artwork to one of our galleries. Please bring your items with an invoice to the gallery. You will receive a drop off receipt,and credit will be issued once the return is processed by the online returns department. 

All returns must have a return authorization code. Please call our Client Care team at 855 892-6870 or email clientcare@zfolio.com. We need your full name, invoice number, and the item being returned. 

Art glass, art jewelry, wearable art, art for the home and photography must be packaged in the same manner it was packaged when it was shipped to you. Please return your item with all its original packaging. You can use the original box if it is in a condition suitable for safe shipping, or you can use a new box.You are responsible for artwork damaged in return transit. Please cover the original label with the new return label if you are using the original box.

Security tags are attached to all our jewelry items. The original security tag must be attached to returned jewelry items. Jewelry returns without the security tag will not be accepted for credit.

Please insure your return shipment. We are not responsible for artwork that is lost in transit or arrives to us damaged.

If your return arrives safely, in most cases refunds are issued within 48 hours after we receive the returned item and confirm that the original packaging is included, the jewelry item has the original security tag attached, and the item was received in its original condition with no signs of wear or alteration, no engraving, resizing or damage.

Wewill notify you by email that we have processed the return and issued credit inthe same form of payment you used for your purchase. Gift recipients willreceive refund in the form of a gift card. You will receive a refund for theprice of the items. Shipping costs will not be refunded.

We want you to be delighted with your purchase from ZFolio.Regular stock orders can be returned within 60 days of receipt for refund or exchange. Special orders and engraved items cannot be cancelled or returned.The item must be in its original packaging and in unworn condition. We cannot accept items that have been damaged, altered, used or worn.

Some artwork is one of a kind. Once it sells, another is not going to be available. Sometimes,additional or similar artwork is available that is not shown on the site, or we may be able to special order it for you from the artist. Please call855-892-6870 orcontact us online here.

Yes! Type www.zfolio.com into your smartphone’s browser and you will be redirected to our mobile website. There you can shop the entire range of our artwork.

We offer an online wish list. You can save your favorite items to your wish list and then send it to your family and friends as gift ideas for special occasions. You can also share your wish list on Facebook and Twitter. To create a wish list, you-must be a registered customer and signed in to your zfolio.com account.

Usernames, email addresses and passwords are case sensitive. If you need your password sent to you, please go to account log in page and reset your password.

You can log in to your account and check your order status there. When your order ships, you will receive an email from us. You can use the tracking number in this email to find out where your shipment is and when it will arrive. Please be aware that tracking information may not be available for 24 to 48 hours after you receive your confirmation email.

At the top of each page, you will find categories such as Art Glass, Art Jewelry, For the Home, Wearable Art, and For Collectors. You can browse artwork that belongs to each of these categories there. You can also browse artwork by artist name.

The artwork we sell is carefully selected and inspected before it leaves the gallery to meet high quality standards. Materials and workmanship are guaranteed for the life of the item under normal use and wear conditions.Guarantee does not cover damage due to inappropriate wear and tear or abuse.All repairs of items purchased from us must be done by us. Guarantee is void ifwork or repair is done by other than Z Folio Gallery.

If any item you purchased from us needs repair, please contact us first by telephone. We will provide a repair authorization number and instructions on how to ship the item back to us. We will send the item to the original designer, and if he or she determines that the item needs repair because of inappropriate use or abuse, we will provide a repair quote to you. You can then choose to have the item repaired for a charge or returned.

We want you to enjoy your artwork for a lifetime! Please care for your jewelry diligently. Care instructions are provided for each item on this website under the item’s ‘care’ tab and must be followed to guarantee years of enjoyment.

All the images on the ZFolio Website are copyrighted. Any image unlawfully used must be removed and each occurrence is subject to a $400 penalty.

What is copyright infringement?

Copyright infringement occurs when a copyrighted work is reproduced, distributed,performed, publicly displayed, or made into a derivative work without the permission of the copyright owner. Examples of imagery infringement include:

·        Use of whole or part of an image without permission

·        Use beyond the scope of a license or permission

·        Adapting an image without permission (art rendering)

·        Asking another photographer to recreate the image

·        Actual copying without permission

Who is responsible when infringements occur?

Responsible parties may include:

·        The company that directly infringed, even if unintentionally

·        Employees or individuals who participated in the infringement

·        Anyone who published the infringing image, whether they had knowledge or not

·        Anyone who authorized or encouraged infringement

If a third-party designer, employee, contractor or intern designed and developed your company's website, you are responsible to ensure they have licensed images for your-use. 

Is an infringement matter resolved after image removal?

Removal of copyrighted images from your site alone does not settle the issue. We still require payment for the past use. 

Unintentional Use:  What if I wasn't aware that I was using copyrighted materials?

Copyright infringement can occur regardless of knowledge or intent. Anyone who copies,publicly displays or publicly distributes a photograph without permission,infringes the copyright whether they were aware that the use was infringing or not.

I found images via a search engine and there were no watermarks or notices of copyright. Can't I use content that I source via this method?

The ability to view content via search engine results or other internet searches does not mean that the content is not protected by copyright. Nor does it mean that permission to use content has been granted. Most search engines warn that the content displayed within the search results may be subject to copyright.Copyright exists the moment a work, including a photograph, is created.Watermarks or notices of copyright are not a requirement for copyright protection.

What is copyright?

Copyright is a form of protection provided by the laws of the United States to the authors of"original works of authorship." By virtue of the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works, works are protected in all 160countries that are party to the Convention.

When does copyright begin?

From the time itis created, a photo or other image is automatically protected by copyright.

What are common misconceptions about copyright?

·        If an image is on the internet, it's in the public domain and I don't need permission to use it.

·        If there's no copyright notice on the image, I don't need permission to use it.

·        If I don't profit from the use, I don't need permission.

·        If I alter the image X%, I don't need permission.

·        If I don't use the entire image, I don't need permission.

·        If I remove the image after notice, I don't owe any money to the copyright owner.

·        If I can download it, I can use it without permission.

What rights do copyright owners control?

Copyright owners control the rights to:

·        Make copies of the work

·        Distribute copies of the work

·        Perform the work publicly (such as for plays, film or music)

·        Display the work publicly (such as for artwork or any material used on the internet or television)

·        Make derivative works (including making modifications, adaptations or other new uses of a work,or translating the work to another media)

Are there limitations on a copyright owner's rights?

"Fair Use" or "Fair Dealing" doctrine allows limited copying of copyrighted works for certain purposes, including education and research. These limited uses do not require permission from the copyright owner. Whether a particular use is a fair use depends on the facts of each case. Since allowable uses can vary by country, it's wise to seek independent legal advice before using any copyrighted material without permission.

Are the images that I used registered with the U.S. Copyright Office?

Copyright exists the moment a photograph is created, and copyright registration is not a requirement of copyright ownership.

Settlement demands are based on the fair market value of a license, taking into consideration usage, size, placement, duration and territory.

How can I ensure that the imagery on my site is properly licensed, especially if someone else created my company's website?

If a third-partydesigner, employee, contractor or intern designed and developed your company's website, you are responsible to ensure they have licensed images for your use.If no valid licenses exist, the liability of any infringement ultimately falls on the company (the end client) who used the image.
